The fire pressure switch is a fire controllable switch that converts the pressure change of water pressure into electrical signal output. It is one of the indispensable and important components of various automatic sprinkler systems. It is often used together with wet alarm valve, deluge valve, pre action and other systems to transmit alarm action signals. When switching with the fire pump control box, the fire pump can be started.

Working principle

When the water pressure or air pressure reaches the specified value, the microswitch contact in the fire pressure switch acts and outputs an electrical signal to the fire control room.

Troubleshooting

If the pressure switch gives an alarm and the hydraulic alarm bell does not give an alarm, it may be a switch or sensor drive fault or a short circuit in the circuit (from the sensor drive part to the pressure switch section). It may also be the hydraulic alarm bell fault. It depends on whether the water pump is started. If it is started, it must be the hydraulic alarm bell fault. If the water pump is not started, check the pressure switch circuit and driving part.
